Basic Rules:

PASSIVE VOICE FOR ALL TENSES RULES

past participle

The places of subject and object in a sentence are inter-changed in the passive voice The 3rd form of verb past participle will be used only (as the main verb) in the passive voice.

Present Simple Tense

passive Voice
supporting verb in passive voice: "am/is/are"

Active voice


1→"I write a book."
2→"He writes a book."
3→"She writes books."
4→"The father punishes me."

Passive voice


1→"A book is written by me."
2→"A book is written by him."
3→"books are written by her."
4→"I am punished by the father."

Present Continuous Tense


passive Voice


supporting verb in the passive voice:" am being/is being/are being"
Active voice

1→"I m reciting The Holy Quran."
2→"We are doing our duty."
3→"You are polishing your shoes."
4→"He is carrying a bag."
5→"She is sweeping the room".
Passive voice

Present Perfect Tense

Future Simple Tense
